savED Receives Recognition at the “Charitable Ukraine–2025” National Competition

The savED International Charitable Foundation has been recognized as one of the winners of the “Charitable Ukraine – 2025” National Competition in the “Philanthropy in Education and Science” category.

This year, the competition received 1,698 applications across 27 categories. Winners were selected by the National Expert Council and the Business Council of the competition. Alongside savED, the organizations IsraAID Ukraine, KSE Foundation, and Nova Ukraine were also recognized in the “Philanthropy in Education and Science” category.

The award was accepted on behalf of the Foundation by Oleksandra Shevchenko, Head of savED’s Communications and Partnerships Office.

“This recognition reflects the dedication of our team, the support of our partners, and the commitment of communities that continue to create opportunities for children to learn, grow, and stay connected despite the challenges of war,” said Oleksandra Shevchenko.

Founded in 2022 in response to the impact of Russia’s full-scale invasion on education, savED works to ensure that children in war-affected communities have access to safe learning environments, educational opportunities, and support for their development.

Today, the Foundation restores and equips educational spaces and school shelters, develops the EduHive network of educational centers, implements learning recovery programmes, supports youth initiatives, and helps communities create the conditions necessary for quality education even in the most challenging circumstances.

The savED team is grateful to everyone who contributes to this work – partners, donors, communities, teachers, young people, and children. This recognition belongs to all those who share the belief that access to education must not be put on hold, even in times of war.
