campaign for the International Children’s Day
When war comes to your country, childhood is fundamentally changed. Beyond the simple joy of playing with friends, climbing neighborhood trees, or making homemade slingshots, children today are confronting the devastating realities of war: grief, loss, and paralyzing fear for the future.
Our kids are growing up too fast. These Ukrainian children are coming of age in the middle of a war. That’s why we, as adults, have a duty to be there: supporting, loving, and fiercely protecting them. We must ensure they have a dignified future right here—at home, in Ukraine.
To mark International Children’s Day, the savED foundation, in partnership with the Serhii Zhadan Foundation, has launched a public awareness campaign. This initiative aims to support both the Ukrainian children growing up during the war and the dedicated adults who teach, heal, donate, save, and safeguard their childhoods every single day.
We encourage you to share your own stories of supporting Ukraine’s children—through personal accounts, social media posts, or video.
Let’s build the country our children deserve to live in!
